The trade character of ISM is fundamental to the success of this event. Therefore, qualifications as a trade visitor must be provided when entering ISM. Tickets can be ordered in advance from the Koelnmesse or online at ISM Online Ticket Shop or at your local representative and paid in local currency.

Children below the age of 12 are not admitted. They will be provided with an excellently equipped day care centre at no charge. Children over the age of 12 are admitted only when accompanied by adults and in possession of a valid admission ticket.

| With your admission ticket, you can travel free of charge in 2nd class on buses, trams and trains run by the Cologne Transport Executive (KVB) and by the Rhine-Sieg Transport Authority (VRS). (Trains run by Deutsche Bahn AG and subject to supplements are excluded.) |

By air: Intercity Express, regional and suburban trains from railway station at Cologne Bonn Airport, stopping directly at the exhibition center station Cologne-Deutz. By train: Exhibition Center station in Cologne-Deutz
By car: Ten motorways lead into Cologne´s motorway ring. Follow the green signs for Koelnmesse on the motorways and federal highways.
