Information and services:
The international confectionery association SWEETS GLOBAL NETWORK e. V. (known up until the end of 2004 as Bundesverband des Süßwaren- Groß- und Außenhandels e V) has 250 members in eight countries. Member companies include confectionery wholesalers, specialist retailers, importers, brokers and manufacturers.
In addition there are 25 sustaining members active in the confectionery supply industry.

The association offers a wide range of services. Among other things, SWEETS GLOBAL NETWORK advises member companies on matters related to food law, legislation and labelling, and publishes the specialist trade journal SG SWEETS GLOBAL NETWORK, as well as a weekly newsletter and the annual SG DIRECTORY.

Furthermore, SWEETS GLOBAL NETWORK - the ideal communication and information platform serving the confectionery sector - organises a number of high calibre events.
These exclusive, member-only events include:
- the SG New Year Reception in Munich, attended by over 500 key confectionery business decision makers
- the SG evening on the eve of the ISM in Cologne, attended by over 400 guests
- the SG Golf Tournament
- and workshops on various topics. SG also invites young leaders and professionals to attend annual seminars.

The association intends to further expand as a communication and information platform on an international level, with a view to facilitating contact with confectionery sector professionals all over Europe, beyond the German-speaking countries. This is an additional benefit for you as a member.
The association is not involved in collective bargaining procedures and processes.
