Tomra Food has appointed category expert Marco Colombo as Global Category Director Potatoes. In this role, he will strengthen the company’s relationship with the potato industry even further and consolidate its position as a thought leader in the sector.
In his new role, Marco Colombo is responsible for building and leading global, cross-functional teams to support customers with the best service and support in the industry. He is also in charge of assisting customers in developing a digital strategy and leveraging big data, analytics, AI, and machine learning to optimize every aspect of their operation. In his role, he is tasked with establishing trusted and professional relationships with executives at the most important food organizations across the world. In partnership with each of them, he will develop a joint go-to-market strategy that leverages the power of Tomra’s solutions to enhance their brand image through a consistently high quality of the food product.
