WDS shows solutions also for smaller companies

For the interpack audience, the WDS booth was a real eye-catcher, not least because of the multimedia vi­sualizations on a large video wall and various information screens. The focus was on the Mogul Type 660, a cost efficient, modular plant for all starch-moulded confectionery, as well as an exhibit from the further developed, free configurable ConfecEco-series. “With this series, we pursue the concept of offering smaller-capacity production facilities for emerging companies and smaller manufacturers,” explained sales manager Thomas Kleppel. Since the market launch of the new ConfecEco, a model for pectin-, toffee- and fondant-products has already expanded the series. With a production capacity of up to 600 kg/h chocolate (300 kg/h pectin, toffee and fondant), it is an ideal machine to meet the demands of smaller businesses. With the Mogul Type 660 WDS, “more than ever, the development has been based on standardization as well as consistent modular design,” emphasized Kleppel. “The result is a highly efficient, long-lasting quality machine, which nevertheless can be offered cost-effectively due to its construction and design features.” •
