SG On Tour
The SG Classics events are exclusive meetings for our members, characterised by a high level of expertise and networking. Experience inspiring presentations and discussions with industry experts.
Look forward to three exciting and varied days in Alsace. In addition to tours of the companies Fortwenger and Maison Alsacienne de Biscuiterie, we will of course also visit retail concepts such as the Carrefour Market in Houssen and flagship stores in Colmar. Beyond the world of confectionery, the program also includes a visit to the renowned Foie Gras producer Fayel Artzner, as well as a distillery and a winery—each offering tasting opportunities—adding further culinary highlights to the agenda.

WEDNESDAY, 3 SEPTEMBER 2025:
Arrival
- 6:00 PM: Meeting at the marketplace, just a few steps from both hotels. Group walk to the dinner location.
- 6:30 PM: Dinner at the restaurant “Winstub – La Dime”
THURSDAY, 4 SEPTEMBER 2025:
Program
- 8:15 AM: Bus transfer to the company Feyel Artzner in Schiltigheim. Visit to one of the most famous and well-known producers of Foie Gras products in Alsace.
- 10:45 AM: Continue to the Carrefour Market in Houssen
- 12:30 PM: Lunch at the restaurant “Le Bonaventure”
- 1:45 PM: Visit and production tour at “Maison Alsacienne de Bisquitterie” in Colmar, an institution for French fine pastries and macarons
- 3:45 PM: Continue to the old town of Colmar, city tour, visit to the Fortwenger flagship store & the Hansi Museum, followed by free time.
- 6:00 PM: Transfer to dinner
- 6:45 PM: Dinner at “Auberge du Ried” in Luttenbach
- 9:30 PM: Return to the hotel in Obernai
FIRDAY, 5 SEPTEMBER 2025:
Program
- 8:45 AM: Bus transfer to Fortwenger: Welcome, company presentation, tour of the warehouse and e-commerce robotics facility
- 10:30 AM: Continue to the Fortwenger chocolate production site
- 12:00 PM: Lunch at the restaurant “Rouge d’Otrott”
- 1:30 PM: Tour and tasting at the Lehmann Distillery
- 3:45 PM: Visit to “Les Ateliers Chocolat” by Daniel Stoffel in Ribeauvillé
- 4:45 PM: Cellar tour and wine tasting at Bott Frères in Ribeauvillé
- Afterwards: Continue to Saint-Hippolyte for dinner at Hotel du Parc
- 9:30 PM: Return to the hotels in Obernai
SAMSTAG, 6. SEPTEMBER 2025:
Departure
Individual departure. For those who have time and interest, we recommend a visit to Strasbourg’s old town or the nearby Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg.Impressions
