Customized solutions for the baking industry

interpack is this year‘s leading event for Haas. The company will be targeting all segments of the market, from small-scale producers with limited budgets up to multinational buyers of complete industrial manufacturing lines.

A wealth of baking and confectionery industry innovation and expertise awaits visitors at the Haas Booth, where live demonstrations are to be presented during show hours. On a floor space of 1,400 sqm plus a double-storey area of 200 sqm space, the different Haas business units will inform the visitors about their new and further developed products. FHW Franz Haas Wafer will be presenting advanced equipment, including baking and separating machinery for the production of wafer snacks, recently launched under the name of Big Bang. Another focus will be on the latest generation of the Eco oven, which features significant reduction of gas consumption and emissions and has a superior, simple heating adjustment concept. Further, FHW will introduce the new and efficient HESZ systems for wafer cutting and gentle handover to packing machines.
In addition, the EWB line will be shown with a cream aeration system by Haas Mondomix, which can also be used for savory and spicy applications. Another highlight is the free-shape cutter FF-AWD, a machine which meets industry demand for different forms. Freely moving cutting wires allow for easy cutting, from simple to complex forms. They can either be embedded in a square block or as completely interleaving figures.
Haas-Meincke is placing particular emphasis on hygiene at this year's interpack. The high-speed wire-cutter, type 6110, with a Rolloff-Rollon (RO-RO) head presented at the booth among other high-end forming machines, is the most advanced wire-cutter in the market. It combines very heavy-duty and high capacity specifications (e.g. up to 2 m band width and 300 strokes/min) with the highest standard of hygienic design (open design, separation zone between product seals and bearing seals, RO-RO etc.). A complete entry-level cookie line will also be presented showcasing three topics: wire-cutter 6050, IFC oven and “Industry 4.0” on a cookie line which presents “gap control” in combination with the spider system, the data collection and monitoring tool for all business units of Haas. Also shown: high-end cracker line and a V60 with a new cross cigar-cutter.
The Franz Haas CFT Caiman oven can produce 19,700 rolled sugar cones per hour while requiring no more floor space than conventional ovens. The twelve or fourteen-track downstream equipment makes the production line compact, yet requires fewer personnel. A new two-circuit heating system enables better baking results and uniform product quality while using less energy. Trials aiming to further increase the current capacity are underway.

Automation, high efficiency and reliability of lines

HMM Haas-Mondomix focuses on aeration. Recent trends in the sector include automation, high efficiency and reliability of lines as well as flexibility under high outputs. Also on the booth are improved batter mixing systems, including weighing of flour and automatic dosing of water. They comply with the latest Haas hygienic design rules and ensure a constant batter quality with lowest possible down-time and operator friendliness. The high speed mixer HSM 2500 is the biggest machine for cracker and biscuit dough mixing in the company’s portfolio. It pairs years of experience in the biscuit sector with the latest hygienic design standards. The design includes the possibility for over- and double tilt, opening a wide array of possibilities and solutions for the customer. The company ensures that by buying a complete package from the Haas Group, customers will have the most efficient solution paired with an ease of mind from selecting a reliable partner.
