The company Ishida sorted their packaging systems into four categories for the interpack display: weighing, quality control, snacks, and fresh products. Each sector is enhanced with sophisticated software solutions for production optimisation in keeping with Industry 4.0. As the world market leader in multihead weighers, Ishida demonstrates machine models for the most diverse challenges: whether compact weighers for very small target weights, or high-performance models with 32 weigher heads for mixed processing of up to eight product components - everything is covered. Even sector-specific multihead weighers, for processing cut fruit, for example, are on display for viewing. Ishida engineers have dreamed up new features for even better hygiene.
With X-ray testing technology, the food industry has highly effective protection against foreign particles, and the company is showing the complete new range of X-ray testing systems. The range of products extends from entry-level models for homogeneous products to high-performance systems for varying tasks and even devices for especially demanding detection standards. Brand integrity is served as well by the inline AirScan system to detect improperly sealed MAP packaging. Ishida offers this system to test tray packaging and, most recently, bag packaging as well.

More possibilities with snacks packaging

Thanks to decades of collaboration with leading snack producers around the world, the company is familiar with the special needs of this branch. The particular expertise in the packaging of various snacks is also based on the successful integration of multihead weighers and tubular bag machines into complete processing lines that include quality control and final packaging. Manufacturers can also check out the new machine solutions for these purposes.
Fresh products have always been the domain of Ishida and the immense amount of expertise should be demonstrated clearly once again at interpack. For example, a high-performance line for tray packaging is available for viewing. The system integrates a CCW-RV multihead weigher with newly-developed carousel filling system and a QX-775 Flex tray sealer.
