Doehler: natural ingredients for snacks and baked goods

 

Delicious snacks which not only taste good, but also impress with their natural ingredients and an optimized nutritional profile are in demand. In line with this, Doehler presented a new portfolio of “Integrated Dry iIgredients”.
A diverse range of products made from high-quality and carefully selected fruit and vegetables varieties is created thanks to particularly gentle drying technology. Whether slices, pieces, fruit or vegetable ­granulates, powder or whole fruits – the innovative drying process preserves the natural colour, looks and structure of the raw materials. The natural ingredients can be used in a diverse range of products, and they provide cereals, bars, confectionery and baked goods with an especially crispy note and a natural taste.
The trend to naturalness, functionality and extraordinary product ­appearances has made its way to the confectionery industry as well. To meet the growing consumer demand, Doehler has developed a wide range of fruit gums with valuable ingre­dients, such as proteins or botani-
cal extracts which also provide a healthy additional benefit. Enriched with pure juice concentrate or puree, they also offer an extra-fruity taste profile. A new range of hard boiled candies also offers additional Acerola fruit powder with an increased amount of vitamin C. •
